Jasper Dress #1
OK, so I decided at 11pm last night that I had nothing to wear and needed to finish the Jasper Dress I'd started so I could go out in it this morning...
1 hour later and it's all done minus the epaulette which I will add at some point.
I never usually like things I sew for myself, but I love this and got the utmost compliment that 'it doesn't look like you made it!'. Yippee!
Now I've tried it, know how easy it sews together and that it actually fits me, I'm going to go on the hunt for some really nice fabrics that'll suit. This grey sweatshirting will be great for wearing in the studio, but it's a bit on the basic side. I already have this heavy knit stripe which doesn't have much stretch. I think it'll be perfect. Where are my scissors...?

ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, It's called the Jasper Dress by Paprika Patterns, an indie pattern designer. It's a downloadable pattern to print out at home. Laura
